Applications OPEN Game opens August 19th It's the summer of 1993. A magical accident, the cause of which remains a mystery to the Ministry of Magic, has resulted in people appearing out of nowhere. Lost, confused, and many even claiming to be from other worlds entirely, these people just keep popping up all over Britain. All of them have magical potential, and - more worryingly - some even have strange powers never seen before. To say that it was causing the Ministry some hassle would be understating it. They were already having a great deal of trouble dealing with the notorious mass-murderer, Sirius Black, who was continuing to elude capture. The intrusion of these Outsiders is certainly not welcome - the Ministry needed to find them, find out what they were capable of, hide them from Muggles, cover up any damage they might have done, and find them somewhere to stay. Under such pressure, it took the Ministry months to decide what to do, and the decision they finally reached proved rather controversial: they would educate the Outsiders and help them learn to control their magic... by sending them to Hogwarts, one of the finest magical schools in the world. Accio! is a community-based game set in the world of Harry Potter, taking place during the book series (from Prisoner of Azkaban and on) and exploring the effects "Outsiders" would have on the story. | ||
